School Advisory Council SAC

As a parent/caregiver of a child at Broadlands you are part of Broadlands Community!

 

You can help make a difference to all of the students at Broadlands PS by getting involved in some way.  

 

 Ways to get involved:

1. Just join in during SAC meetings. Your voice is important and can shape discussions and decisions during meetings. 

 

2. You have some time to spare...great! Become a member of the SAC by being a voting parent or part of the school council.

 

3. No time but still want to help. No problem. We are volunteers who need the help of more volunteers!

Whether you have 20 minutes or 20 hours, you are truly needed.  During a typical school year, we have tasks that can be performed in the evenings, during the day, or that don’t even involve coming in to the school at all.

Through involvement you will have a forum to add your input and have influence with SAC initiatives, including how fundraising is done and money is spent. You will gain a deeper understanding of what is going on at your child’s school and you will find yourself part of a committed team of caring parents.
 

This is your chance to get involved with the council, but more importantly, make a genuine difference in the lives of hundreds of Broadlands students.
